Time to introduce myself.... I entered this world a bit suddenly...(has to do with the fact I'm writing these and in general editing this new "experience" while at work).
The title, here on the left is from a film by Satyajit Ray, called Aparajito (more info on http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0048956/) and means The Unvanquished. I first saw screenshots taken from the film some years ago and just got stuck with it. I don't know why (no need to mention I've never seen it, as it's never been projected in Greece, I think)... To be continued....
Well... about the film...
The stills from the movie just shook me... I've always wanted to visit India, away from the folklor-centered, well organized tours, by myshelf with only a trusted guide....
Recently a friend of mine gave me another perpsective on that vast country.
I chose this id (Aparajito) for the blog when I realized that what I most like about the country and the screenshots I saw, is the feeling of a deep serenity, calmness, absence of noise and a liquid sense of time that are reflected by either the still images or even the sound of the country's name itself...
